The World of Outlaws Series Returns to Chico For The Mini Gold Cup

TULARE, Calif. – March 19, 2012 – After three races in the Golden State the past two weekends, the World of Outlaws, Californians and the weather each have a victory.

Joey Saldana won the first event in California by outlasting California native and two-time defending World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers in the NAPA Know How SoCal Showdown at Perris Auto Speedway on March 10 in Perris. Californian Tim Kaeding then became the first repeat winner when he dominated the opener at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare last Friday before rain claimed Saturday’s finale.

This weekend signifies one of the biggest battles between the Outlaws and Californians as the largest field of competitors in a World of Outlaws event this season is expected to challenge for the Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif., on Friday and Saturday.

WHEN

Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif., for the Mini Gold Cup. Front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with qualifying beginning at approximately 6:40 p.m. both nights.

Bill McAnally Racing Announces the Grand Opening of its NAPA AutoCare Center in Roseville on March 21, 2012

ROSEVILLE, California — The grand opening of Bill McAnally Racing’s Roseville location at 900 Riverside Ave, will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. On hand will be, NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Martin Truex, Jr., driver of car #56 NAPA Filters Toyota. Truex, who is currently eighth in the Sprint Cup standings and the winner of the Daytona 500 “Halfway” prize money of $250,000.00, will be on hand to sign autographs. Also on hand, will be special guest Delanie Walker of the NFC West Champions, San Francisco 49ers.

Bill McAnally Racing’s new location features a brand new state of the art NAPA AutoCare facility. This 40,000 square foot facility is also the home of one of the largest NASCAR race shops on the West Coast. The 2000 square foot customer waiting area includes picture windows looking into race shop, big screen TV’s, and a retail shop.

On hand for guided tours of the Bill McAnally Racing facility will be three time NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Champion, Eric Holmes, driver of the #20 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry and one of NASCAR’s youngest drivers, 15 year old, Cameron Hayley, driver of the #24 Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Camry.
