The Detroit Free Press named their 2011 Car & Truck of the Year awards. The car of the year is the Chevrolet Volt. Followed by the Hyundai Sonata and the Nissan Leaf. The Truck of the Year is the new Ford Explorer, in second was the Dodge Durango. The announcement was made by Free Press Auto Critic, Mark Phelan.
