The roar of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES’ Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey returns to the Peninsula. Colton Herta has won the past two races at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (2019, 2021) and will be looking to make it a three-peat. Adding even more anticipation and excitement to INDYCAR’s arrival in Monterey is the scheduling, as the race will serve as the finale for the 2022 INDYCAR season. A champion will be crowned on the WeatherTech Raceway podium on Sept. 11.

The granddaddy of historic racing, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is a museum revving to life with hundreds of historic, authentic and period-correct race and sports cars from nearly every era on track racing once again. This is an important celebration of motorsport history that unites cars and drivers. Strolling through the paddock, you may bump into one of the drivers who made the car famous, or in some cases, the drivers that the car made famous. From historic Formula One and Trans-Am, to the cars that once raced in the original Pebble Beach Road Races in the forest between 1950 and 1956, they are all there. The open paddock allows for making new memories, while the bustling marketplace features activities for families of all ages and interests.
