The Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame and Car Show is Wednesday at 5pm at 1010 10th Street in Downtown Modesto.
Get ready to step back in time and immerse yourself in the spirit of “American Graffiti” on June 5th, 2024! This event is FREE for Classic Car Participants and for Spectators!
We’re throwing out an open invitation to everyone, from across America and around the world, to come have a rip-roaring good time as we unveil the “Walk of Fame” Class of ’24. This exciting event will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, on 10th Street between J and K Streets. This is the very place that inspired George Lucas’ iconic film.
Embracing the nostalgia of Graffiti Summer, the Legends event is paired with a Classic Car Park ‘n Shine, where you can stroll the streets of downtown Modesto and feast your eyes on more than 300 classic cars and hot rods.
Our Modesto Historic Graffiti Cruise Route Walk of Fame sidewalk markers are a celebration of the Legends of the Cruise who made all this possible. They were the cruisers, the racers, the musicians, the students, the DJs, and the dreamers who breathed life into Modesto, both then and now.
So come on down and kick off Graffiti Summer in style! Take a stroll along the Walk of Fame, knowing that you’re walking on the legendary Historic Graffiti Cruise Route of 10th and 11th Streets in Modesto. This is the very route that inspired the film American Graffiti and brought the nostalgia of the 50s and 60s to the world. To set the mood, music will be provided by Third Party. Modesto View’s very own Chris Murphy will be there to lead the Inductees Ceremony.
