The Father’s Day Car Show is Sunday from 10am to 2pm at Venture Christian Church, 16845 Hicks Road.
The Corvette Spectacular presented by the Santa Clara Corvettes is Sunday from 10am to 3pm on Main Street in Downtown Los Altos.
Come join us in downtown Los Altos as we put Corvettes on display over the full length of Main Street. Santa Clara Corvettes is hosting Corvette Spectacular car show as we have been doing for over 40 years. All 8 generations of Corvettes will be there and you can be a part of it.
This will be a car show emphasizing fun and the camaraderie among owners. There will be informal judging – trophies will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place for each generation (C-1 thru C-8). There will also be special awards, music, many car-related vendors and merchants.
So come join the fun in a great setting! The tree-lined street has a variety of merchants who will be open for food, drink and shopping.
This is a Rain or Shine event.
The only hard requirements for this show — you must bring a Corvette-bodied car. Everyone is invited. You don’t have to be a member of a Corvette Club.
The gates will open at 8 a.m. You’ll have until 10 a.m. to get your car prepped, and then more time to browse all the other cars and check out the vendors. Award presentation will happen about 2 p.m.. We should be all finished by 3 p.m.
You need to be in place by 10 a.m. or we may give your spot away. Feel free to bring placards describing what’s special about your car.
We are offering groups with 6 or more cars the ability to park together if they ALL register by August 31 and arrive at the show together by 9 a.m.
The award presentations will be made in front of Chase Bank at the corner of Main and 3rd Street.
