The 74th Grand National Roadster Show is Friday to Sunday at the Pomona Fairplex, 1101 West McKinley Avenue.
The GNRS is now in its 74th year. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is the longest running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona for the 19th consecutive year.
Over 500 show vehicles will compete for awards inside the Fairplex buildings. Another 400-800 vehicles will join the event Saturday & Sunday for the 18th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In. Vehicles will park between buildings as part of the show.
The 38th Annual Classic at Pismo Beach Car Show is Friday to Sunday Downtown Pismo Beach, 150 Pomeroy Avenue.
Each year, The Classic at Pismo Beach attracts people and cars from all over the United States, with some coming from as far away as Alaska and even Australia. Big 18-wheelers show up from companies like CarQuest Auto Parts, Mother’s Polish, GM Performance, Ford Motor Co., Budweiser, and many more. The show began in the early 80’s and continues to attract the hottest classic cars each year to this tiny, serene central coast city. Every summer, cars line the streets of this little beach town where spectators enjoy cool cars and great vendors.
The Battle on the Bay Car Show n Hop is Saturday from 10am to 5pm at 505 Santa Clara Street in Downtown Vallejo.
