CHVA Car Show in the Park

The Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association’s River Park Car Show is Sunday from 8am to 1pm at River Park, 158 Main Street.

The meet will be simplified, more like a cruise-in gathering of cars, trucks and enthusiasts. Bring your own picnic food, since we will not be preparing hot food this year. Pepsi, coffee and pasties will be available until sold out. Several fast food restaurants are within walking distance of the park. People’s Choice awards are simplified, vote your favorite vehicle, any type, grouped by decades from about 1920 through the 1980s. There will be a raffle, and a 50-50 drawing. This year: NO ENTRY FEE! And of course, spectators are always FREE, so bring the relatives and neighbors.
