The SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series Begins the 2012 Season at the SPEARS Manufacturing 125

Stockton 99 Speedway
What better way to open the New Season than to have the Best in the West hit the tricky asphalt surface on Saturday, March 31st on the Toughest Test In The West! Without doubt, this early in the Season, and on a semi-green track, the fans in the stands will be treated to some absolutely thrilling driving skills when the SRL Southwest Tour Series, in what is expected to be their largest field of the year, breathes first life into the high-banks to get the 2012 Saturday Night Short-Track Racing Season underway!

2011 SRL Tour Champion, Jim Pettit II, returns to action to defend his prestigious title. However, this year he will be sporting new colors as well as a new number. The Legendary #03 was retired at the end of last year in honor of the late Patricia Pettit, Jim’s mother. This year the entire #03 team moves over to the Moeller Bros. #18 team owned by Quentin Bammer. Pettit holds highs hopes and much confidence in successfully defending his Championship, not despite this, but because of this major metamorphoses.

Also on the ticket for the Event will be the always popular Legends of the Pacific. These scaled-down throw-backs to yesteryear put on a great show wherever they go, but especially at Stockton. The Pro-4 Modifieds Division is another one of those Series that continue to impress every time they come to conquer the speedy quarter-mile. This is most certainly one show you won’t want to miss!

Ticket prices for the evening will be as follows:

General Admission (16+) $25

Juniors (11-15) $15

Kids 10 & Under FREE

Seniors (60+) $15

Military (W/ Military ID) $15

Family $65

(2 General + 2 Junior’s)
