NASCAR Pro Series West comes to Roseville’s All American Speedway

Today, April 16, 2011 the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West races into the All American Speedway in Roseville, CA. There are 28 entries for the Toyota/ NAPA Auto Care 150 including last years series champion, Eric Holmes from Escalon, CA. This is the 2nd race out of 14 on the 2011 schedule. They will return to Roseville on October 15th for race number 13.

Bill McAnally Racing, out of Antelope, CA has won five of the six series events since Roseville’s All American Speedway returned to the series schedule in 2008, with Eric Holmes taking three of those wins.

The All American Speedway, located at the Placer County Fairgrounds is a .333-mile paved oval with eight degrees banking in Turns 1 and 2. Turns 3 and 4 have progressive banking, beginning at 10 degrees and graduating to 14 degrees. The track hosted five NASCAR K&N Pro Series West events between 1977 and 1982, when it was a quarter-mile oval, and six races since it was renovated prior to the 2008 season.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series Coors Light Pole Qualifying is from 5:30-5:55pm, followed by an autograph session at 6:15. The green flag for the Toyota/NAPA AutoCare 150 is set to drop at 8:45pm.

The World’s Champion Hand Cleaner/Products 140, a Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series race will precede the NASCAR race. There are 27 entries for tonight’s race including Jonathan Gomez from Twin Falls, Idaho, the 2010 series champion. Also racing are M.K. Kanke of Frazier Park, CA the winner of the first race in Las Vegas and the 2011 points leader; as well as Jonathan Mawhinney from Sacramento the early leader in the rookie of the year standings. SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series Qualifying runs from 5:00-5:25pm, followed by the autograph session at 6:00pm. The race will begin at 6:35pm.
