Northern California Car Shows, Races & Swap Meets: November 4-6, 2011

Castro Valley
The Greased Lightning Benefit Car Show is Sunday, November 6th at the Moose Lodge, 20835 Rutledge Road in Castro Valley from 10am to 4pm.

Lemoore

The November Battle and Fall Classic Sprint Car Races are Saturday, November 5th at Lemoore Raceway. Micro Sprint racing begins at 1pm.

Menlo Park

The 10th Annual Car Show for the Vets is Sunday, November 6th at the Menlo Park VA Hospital, 795 Willow Road in Menlo Park from 9am to 3pm.

Orland

The Orland Rod & Custom Car Show and Swap Meet is Saturday, Nov. 5th from 9am to 8pm and Sunday, Nov. 6th from 9am to 1pm at the Glenn County Fairgrounds.

Sacramento

The Annual Vettes for Vets All Corvette Show is Saturday, November 5th at the California Automobile Museum, 2200 Front Street in Sacramento from 10am to 3pm.

The OctoberFest 2011 Presented by the Capital City Cruisers

Octoberfest 2011 presented by the Capital City Cruisers.

The Capital City Cruisers‘ OctoberFest 2011 and Toy Run was held Saturday, Oct. 22nd in the Lowes parking lot in Citrus Heights, CA. Toys were collected to benefit the Gifts From the Heart program in Sacramento County. The weather cooperated by warming up to the 80’s by mid afternoon. I believe there were a little over 200 cars squeezed into a pretty small area. Several other local car clubs participated, including: Rods & Relics, Midyear Sting Rays, and the River City Chapter of the Falcon Club of America. It was a great day for a great cause with a lot of great cars.

A totally restored 1967 Chevelle SS 396 owned by Dennis Ensley from Meadow Vista, CA.
A better view under the hood of this beautiful 67 Chevelle SS.
A very rare 1968 Shelby GT 500 owned by Tom & Dee Agan from Roseville, CA.
A 1939 Ford Pickup with a stock 85 hp Flathead V8 owned by Fred Krohn from Rocklin, CA.
A flamed 1963 Ford Falcon convertible owned by Ken & Kathy Knutson from Fair Oaks, CA.
A very clean 1952 Chevy Pickup owned by Dale Petersen from Roseville, CA.
A 1950 Ford Custom.

Auburn

The Historic Old Town Car Show in Downtown Auburn is Thursday, October 27th from 5pm to 7pm. The show is presented by the Townsmen of Sacramento Car Club.

Geyserville
The Fall Colors Festival & Vintage Car Show is Sunday, October 30th in Downtown Geyserville from 10am to 3pm.

Petaluma

The Sunday Cruise In is Sunday, October 30th, at the Fourth & Sea Restaurant, 101 4th St. in Downtown Petaluma, starting at 12 noon.

Rancho Cordova

The final Vintage Friday Crusie Night of 2011 is Friday, October 28th at Vintage Ford, 2484 Mercantile Drive in Rancho Cordova beginning at 6pm.

Sacramento

The Hot Rod and Race Car Parts Swap Meet is Sunday, October 30th at Sacramento Raceway, 5350 Exclesior Road in Sacramento.

Sacramento

Life in the Fast Lane – Bash with the ‘Stache, fundraising dinner for the California Automobile Museum is Friday, October 28th at 5:30pm. The evening will feature a cocktail hour, live and silent auction, catered dinner by Il Fornaio and special guest Dennis Gage from My Classic Car.
