The 3rd Annual CAM Car Cruise, hosted by the California Automobile Museum (CAM) was Saturday, August 6th on Fulton Ave in Sacramento. Since we live nearby, I grabbed my son, Ryan and a camera and headed over to see the cars. At 4pm the long line of cars left Sac State and cruised to Fulton Avenue where they had blocked off the street so the cars could just line up and park right in the middle of the street. We got there right about 5 when most of the cars were already lined up. It was hot, but not as hot as usual for August in Sacramento. We walked along from Marconi Ave. all the way to El Camino and back. We were impressed with the variety of the cars participating. There were everything from Model T’s to Ferrari’s (I had never seen 6 in one spot in my life). There was also 2 bands playing in 2 different locations on either side of Fulton. Fulton Avenue is or was, known as Auto Row in Sacramento, so there were automotive businesses all along the way with their own car displays including brand new Fiats from Fiat of Sacramento. Here are a few of our favorites:
I am working on a TV commercial in the SF bay area and I am looking for a BMW isetta to be in our spot. I found this image of a 1958 BMW Isetta owned by Ken and Lorrain Mullin. Is there any way to contact the owners of this vehicle?
