Wow, what a week that May 3-5, 2013 was. I wasn’t even aware of most of these shows, and all on the same weekend, too! What fabulous art work they have for the event’s fliers, too. Awesome! I certainly didn’t know a thing about the these car shows and races that went on in Copperapolis, Oakhurst, both in Fresno, Reedley, Porterville, Placerville, Stockton, Tracy, Kensington, Fair Oaks, Lincoln, Chico, Petaluma, or Hayward’s swap meet, either.
On May 4, I went to two other car shows in Palo Alto (Museum Of American Heritage’s MOAH classic car event), and one in Mountain View (Ala Carte & Art Festival, that Mike Hennessy put on). Both had thousands of people, too.
Seeing how many car events went on those few days, it is sure a good sign of how healthy this car show hobby has become.
