Sacramento Autorama Starts Tomorrow Feb. 11th, 2011

A quick reminder that the 61st Sacramento Autorama starts tomorrow at 12 pm. It is being held at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds, 1600 Exposition Blvd. in Sacramento. Over 450 show vehicles will be on display and competing for prizes.

The show hours are:
Friday February 11, 2011 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm
Saturday February 12, 2011 10:00 am until 9:00 pm
Sunday February 13, 2011 10:00 am until 7:00 pm

Ticket Prices
* $18.00 General Admission (13 years and up)
* $10.00 Kids (6 – 12 years)
* 5 & under Free

Parking
$10.00 General. Parking at the Main Gate as well as the East Gate off of Exposition Blvd.

Don’t forget $15.00 discount tickets are available at all area O’Reilly Auto Parts stores.

We will be there on Saturday taking pictures of our favorite cars and motorcycles. We hope to see you there!

Capitol Quarter Midget Association Annual Open House & Swap Meet

The Capitol Quarter Midget Association Annual Open House & Swap Meet is being held today, February 5, 2011 at 800 G Street in Rio Linda, CA from 9am to 3pm.

Is your child interested in racing? The CQMA Open House is a chance for your child [ages 5-15] to drive a real quarter midget race car. Your child will have the opportunity to drive around their oval track for FREE.

All safety equipment including a full face helmet, neck and arm restraints, gloves, and driver’s jacket will be provided. The cars will be modified to slow the actual speed for your child’s safety. Please have your child wear jeans, socks and tennis shoes. All rides will be on a first come, first served basis.

Training Rides 9am – 3pm
Exhibition Races at 11am, 12:30 & 2pm
