NorCal Races This Weekend: March 13, 2011


The biggest races in Northern California this weekend will be held at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. Several sprint car series will be competing including the national World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. A couple of NorCal drivers, Jason Meyers of Clovis who is 5th in the points standings and Paul McMahan from Elk Grove in 10th place will have a lot of fans there.
Silver Dollar Speedway is also the scene of the inaugural race of the new USAC Western Classic Series on Friday night. Running in this race will be Tony Hunt of Lincoln, CA, the 2010 USAC Western States Sprint Car Champion.

USAC/BCRA Midget Sprint Cars – Friday

Saturday: Street Legal Races at 6pm.
Sunday: Gambler’s Bracket Race at 11am.

Sacramento Raceway Park
Saturday: Test and Tune – 12 to 4pm, Chassis Certification – 9am to 4pm
Sunday: E.T. Drag Racing at 10am.
